Our private hunting preserve is located in the Northeast Corner of Arkansas at 2 CR 470 Rector, Arkansas 72461. Memphis International Airport is only 100 miles away with several regional airports nearby in Paragould, AR or Kennett, MO. For pilots, Rector has its own small airport, but the the closest airstrip with the best instrument approach is perhaps Jonesboro, AR. It's easy to rent a car in Memphis, and we will provide courtesy transportation from the nearby smaller airports.
Where to Stay
We can accommodate up to six hunters on-site in our comfortable lodge. There is a charming Bed & Breakfast located 10 miles away in Piggott, Arkansas, "The Inn at Piggott." (www.theinnatpiggott.com) Piggott is also home of the Hemingway-Pfeiffer Museum and Educational Center, where Ernest Hemingway wrote portions of some of his most famous works, including “A Farewell to Arms.” Other nearby attractions in Piggott are the Matilda and Karl Pfeiffer Museum and Study Center as well as Chalk Bluff Battlefield Park, the site of several Civil War skirmishes.
There are also a number of hotel rooms in nearby Paragould, Arkansas- just 20 minutes away- which include a Holiday Inn Express and a Hampton Inn. Paragould also has a number of restaurants featuring many kinds of local, national and international cuisine.
